Children and young adults of all backgrounds are encouraged to join the grange at any age. Adopted as part of the National Grange in 1888, we offer one of America’s first and finest youth organizations. The Grange has positively impacted the lives of Americans for generations through our Jr Grange and Youth Grange programs. In 1867, the Grange became the first nationwide agricultural organization. The Grange encourages all members of the family to grow and realize their greatest potential. Many of our members are 3rd, 4th, or 5th generation Grangers. With a strong history of problem solving, family values, and community service, the Grange is part of 2100 hometowns across America. Membership is open to anyone of good character who wishes to be part of a national family supporting a stronger America.

Grangers have CLASS!   Grangers Lead!

Junior Grange  (Ages 5 to 14)

Junior Grange is a program for children ages 5 to 14 patterned after the parent organization. Community involvement and personal growth are core principles of Junior Grange. These values are expressed through fun and educational activities which aid each child to reach their full potential.

Youth Grange  (Ages 15 to 21)

The goals of the National Grange Youth Development department include providing leadership training through active participation in a variety of events such as: Regional Conferences, the Ambassador Program, the John Trimble Legislative Experience, Mentoring Programs, and The National Grange Convention, just to name a few.  Individual life skills are developed through the Achievement Award Program which offers opportunities for exploration in public speaking, communication (including Sign-A-Song and Foreign Language), critical thinking, mentoring, and career exploration.
